Jeni Kerr
Assistant Headteacher, Primary
Jeni graduated from Leeds Trinity University College with BA Hons in Early Years Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status, specialising in Science, in 2010. After working at an outstanding local Bradford school for two years as a Reception Teacher, she moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she taught at The Alice Smith School for four years. Jeni then become the Year Leader for the five Reception classes after two years at this British International School and helped to secure the Outstanding Ofsted judgement alongside a wonderful team of teaching staff.
In 2016, Jeni returned to the UK and began teaching at Dixons Allerton Academy. She started leading Early Years in 2018 and has just returned from Maternity leave after the birth of her little boy. She is looking forward to leading The Early Career Framework for new teachers at the school and continuing to work alongside the Early Years Team to provide an exciting, innovative and caring teaching environment for all the children and families at Dixons Allerton Academy.
