Amanda Patch

Vice Principal - Standards

Amanda spent an extensive period of her childhood in Saudia Arabia before moving back to Northumberland to study her GCSEs and gain a first class degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle.

Following her undergraduate studies, Amanda relocated to Leeds to pursue her career in teaching. She has been a Mathematics teacher since 2005, working exclusively in schools serving communities with high levels of social inequality and economic challenge.

Amanda started at Dixon Allerton in May 2015 as Director of Learning for Mathematics and has recently joined the Leadership Team as Assistant Vice Principal for Standards. She is passionate about all young people having the very best educational experience and is excited to be part of the academy’s journey to be the best that they can.
