Geoff Simpson

Geoff’s passion for teaching was ignited while working as an outdoor instructor and fieldwork teacher across the south of England and mainland Europe where he delivered learning outside the classroom to a range of people from 6 to 18yrs.

Geoff has taught in several schools across Yorkshire and Calderdale for over 20 years, primarily as a teacher of Geography. He has supported the 42 secondary schools across North Yorkshire as an Advanced Skills Teacher, led thriving geography departments in 2 schools and most recently came to Dixons as the Director of Learning for Humanities.

Geoff recently joined the senior team supporting curriculum development and delivery and is driven to ensure the students at Dixons Allerton get the best learning opportunities so they can have exceptional life chances while developing skills that allow them to be successful global citizens.
