BBC Young Reporter is the BBC’s journalism and media project supporting young people to develop content creation skills, find out about careers in broadcasting and share their own stories.

BBC Young Reporter is an exciting opportunity for young people to get involved with the BBC.

If you are 11 to 18 years old then this is a chance for you to tell the stories that matter to you.

BBC Young Reporter works in partnership with schools, colleges, youth organisations and charities to provide young people with the skills they need to create and understand the media.

Schools and organisations taking part will benefit from access to exclusive events, training and resources, as well as mentoring and career talks from BBC staff and journalists.

The project is backed by the likes of Tina Daheley, BBC Radio 1’s Greg James and Katie Thistleton, The One Show's Alex Jones, BBC Newsbeat's Roisin Hastie and Ben Mundy and Newsround's Ricky Boleto.
